The Pakistan Test Cricket Team debut in 1952 and has since become one of the most successful teams in modern Cricket. After the independence of Pakistan in 1947 and the formation of a separate national state of Pakistan, cricket in the country gradually developed and following the recommendation, Pakistan was accorded Test match status at the meeting of the Imperial Cricket Conference on 28 July 1952 at Lord’s Cricket Ground. 1986 Austral-Asia Cup
The 1986 Australia Cup, play in Sharjah UAE, is remember as a famous victory over Pakistan’s last ball against traditional rivals India, in which Javed Miandad emerges as a national hero.
Batting first, India set a target of 245, leaving Pakistan with the required run rate of 4.92 runs per over. Javed Miandad came in third to bat and Pakistan lost wickets intermittently. Recalling the match later, Miandad said his main focus was to lose with dignity. With 31 runs need in the last three overs, Miandad hit a series of boundaries while batting with his team’s lower order, while four runs were require from the final delivery of the match. 1992 Cricket World Cup Final
In the 1992 World Cup semi-final, after winning the toss, New Zealand decided to bat first and finished with a total of 262 runs. Pakistan batted conservatively but lost wickets from time to time. Shortly after the departure of Imran Khan and Saleem Malik, Pakistan still needed 115 runs at 7.67 runs per over and veteran Javed Miandad was the only leading batsman on the crease. Inzamam-ul-Haq, a young man who was just 22 years old and not a well-known player at the time, came to the international arena with 60 runs off 37 balls. After Inzamam’s dismissal, Pakistan needed 36 off 30 balls, which was end by wicketkeeper Moin Khan with a powerful six off the long off, followed by a winning boundary on the mid-wicket. The 1992 Cricket World Cup held in Australia and New Zealand. Pakistan Cricket Team won the 1st ICC Cricket World Cup of 1992. He is remember for losing key players like Waqar Younis and Saeed Anwar and returning to Pakistan under the leadership of injured captain Imran Khan. 2009 T20 World Cup Final
Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to bat in the final at Lord’s Cricket Ground in London. The 1st over was bowl by Muhammad Amir. After failing to score on the first four balls – all shorts – Dilshan went for his scoop. And made the wrong time. As a result of which he was catch on the short fine leg.

ICC T20 World Cup T20 Final Pakistan Batting

Shahid Afridi batting against Sri Lanka in the ICC World Twenty20 final in Lord’s, England
Afridi started the tournament calmly with the bat but responded with half-centuries winning the match in the semi-finals and final. Shahid Afridi took by 11 wicket in the Tournament.

2017 ICC Championship Trophy
The start of the tournament was not good for Pakistan, it lost to its traditional rival India by 124 runs.
